The Opera meets Art Walk

The second Saturday of the month only means one thing in this town, ART WALK. This Saturday however, the Florida Grand Opera and THE HANGAR will be hosting an Opera Preview of the Design District’s first operatic production.

The evening will feature selections from the company’s tango-themed double bill, Robert Xavier Rodriguez’s Tango and Astor Piazzolla’s Maria de Buenos Aires, as well as popular arias performed by the company’s Young Artist Studio alongside a Steinway piano.

Performances will take place every hour from 7 p.m. to 10 p.m., amid THE HANGAR’s current “Miami Minds” mixed media exhibition which depicts Miami’s graffiti subculture.

Guests will enjoy music, art, and complimentary cocktails courtesy of Little Black Dress Vodka.

This event is FREE and open to the public. To RSVP, email rsvp@fgo.org.
