It is no secret that Miami nightlife has been lacking a local watering hole unique enough to bridge the gap between the emerging, ultra cool hipster and the glammed-up, sobe club-goer. Well, look no further. Radio, the newest addition to the rapidly growing pop-up bar trend in Miami, succeeds in doing just that. Patrons are asked to enter using the back door, finding themselves walking through an enormous radio tower located in the rear of the bar.
Radio’s ambiance is refreshingly unique in that it offers twenty and thirty something’s a warm, friendly spot to enjoy a craft cocktail while dancing to eclectic tunes; this, in conjunction with the freshly popped popcorn that accompanies every cocktail order, provides hipsters and fist-pumpers alike with the sense that a hidden gem is in the midst.
But hurry folks! As is the case with most pop-up establishments, there is no telling whether it will claim a permanent spot in the Miami scene. So get the pop-corn while it’s hot!
