Beach Guide

With gorgeous beaches stretching for a little over eight miles, we can see how finding the perfect spot on the sand can be a little intimidating for some. Between all the eye-candy roaming around half-naked and the scorching Miami heat that even the locals have trouble getting used to, things can get pretty overwhelming but don’t worry! There’s a little something for everyone!

Miami Beach – North

Located: Miami BeachCollins Ave. (46th Street to 78th Street)
Sidewalk cafes and fast-food restaurants within close distance. Lifeguard towers, beach chair/umbrella rentals and shower facilities available. Parking is available with fees.

Miami Beach – South

Located:               Miami Beach/South Beach

Ocean Drive (5th Street to 16th Street)

Collins Ave. (17th Street to 21st Street)

Beach located at the southern tip of South Beach. Great place to watch cruise ships sailing out to sea. Parking is available with fees.

Sunny Isles Beach

Located:               Sunny Isles

Collins Ave. (157th Street to 193rd Street)

A two-mile long, wide, white sandy beach. Parking is available with fees.

Virginia Beach – North

Located:               Key Biscayne

North Rickenbacker Causeway

Wind-surfing and seaplane rentals. Great views of Downtown/Brickell Miami skyline. Food/drink concessions and restrooms available. Parking is available with fees.

Oleta River State Park

Located:               North Miami Beach

3400 NE 163rd Street

Sandy beach in a beautiful park offering many recreational activities. Great park for boating, kayaking and mountain biking. Camping areas available. Parking available with entrance fee.

Bal Harbour Beach

Located:               Bal Harbour

Collins Ave. (96th Street to Haulover Inlet)

Palm-shaded jogging path curves around mile-long beach. Limited metered parking lot available below the Haulover Bridge. No lifeguards or showers.

Crandon Park Beach

Located:               Key Biscayne

4000 Crandon Blvd.

Very scenic beach. Walking and bicycle trails. Historic lighthouse, food stand, restrooms, picnic tables and shower facilities available. Parking is available with fees.

Haulover Beach

Located:               Miami Beach

10800 Collins Ave.

Beach with shady picnic areas and barbecue grills. Pedestrian tunnels connect to the park and marina on Biscayne Bay. Golf course, tennis courts, and kite shop available. There is Clothing-optional section at northern end. Parking is available with fees.
